Serving individuals and organizations in the areas of art law, corporate law, and intellectual property, Andrea Perez assists her clients with a broad spectrum of issues.

In the art community, Andrea represents collectors, museums, auction houses, galleries, artists, art advisors, and other professionals in the arts. She also acts as a consultant and expert witness for other law firms with art law-related matters. Though Andrea is the foremost art law lawyer in Texas, she also represents clients in New York, London, Paris, and several other vibrant art centers across the globe.

Combining her love and knowledge of the arts with her sharp legal acumen, Andrea enthusiastically advocates for her clients and works tirelessly to protect their interests. Discrete as she is knowledgeable, she finds creative and efficient legal solutions to a variety of matters in the art world while ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of her exclusive clientele.

Outside of the firm, Andrea is a lecturer at Southern Methodist University, teaching International Law and the Arts as part of an international master’s degree program with universities in Montreal, Milan, Bogotá, and Beijing. She currently sits on the board of the Texas Accountants and Lawyers for Artists (TALA) and the Dallas Museum of Art, serves as past Chair of the Dallas Bar Association Entertainment, Art and Sports Law Section, serves as the Vice President for the Cedars Union art incubator, and contributes her mentorship skills to many young attorneys interested in practicing art law.

In addition, Andrea and her husband are involved with several other organizations that support local charitable initiatives and the arts, including Bruce Wood Dance, the Dallas Symphony, and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.


Shanna Hennig is the Senior Director of the Southwest Region, with offices in Houston and Denver, managing a multi-state region spanning Texas, the surrounding states and the Rocky Mountains. With over 15 years of experience assisting collectors and advisors in art industry segments including appraisal and advisory, fine art insurance and finance, Shanna has established a professional focus on supporting clients and their trusted advisors in all aspects of collections management.

Shanna received her Certificate in Appraisal Studies from the University of California, Irvine and is compliant in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). She studied Art History at the University of Colorado, Denver and received her BBA from TCU. Shanna is highly involved in local arts organizations in Houston and Denver, and she currently serves on the Conservation Committee at the Denver Art Museum. Shanna is a member of estate planning councils in Houston, Dallas and Denver and is frequent speaker on topics related to collection care and planning.
